Today was so bad I had to stop at the store on my way home and buy some chocolate.

I started openly weeping in front of my manager, talking about how people terrified me.

She gave me the phone number to the company counselor service. She said she’d never, ever suggest anyone quit, but it might be something I’d have to think about.
